"Are you crazy?" I might be." "Stop fucking off Parish. Evan took Slate and followed the instructions. He gave directions on how to get out of here before turning around and going the other way. We came to the end of the hall and Ben opened the door. He turned aggressively and began to walk. Ben stared blankly at me before he turned a raging red. I pushed away and hit him in the stomach. He pinned me to the wall and gritted his teeth. He was so caught in the moment he didn't know who was who. Ben turned and grabbed him by the throat. He punched Ben in the middle of his back. He jerked away and walked over to get our bags. I went over and put my hand on Ben's shoulder to get his attention.
Evan accepted the request.I could see Evan straighten his posture and squeeze Ben's hand. After what felt like hours of Ben and Evan violently staring at each other Ben put out his hand. "We caught his name when you ran into his arms." He gave me a disappointed look with a slight sorrow silence. Meet eva." I was interrupted by Ben's anger. "Evan Walker, meet Slate Sullivan and Ben Parish. Slate just stood beside Ben hugging his leg nervously. Ben immediately gave me a concern expression. I turned on my heal to face Ben so I could introduce everyone.
I felt the violent stare Ben gave and I snapped back to reality.
The pretty me, the loving me, the normal me. Everything stopping and the clock reversed back to me. I felt warm and safe mixed with a little reassurance. I ran into his arms and hugged him tightly. I felt my eyebrows stand to the top of my head. I have never expected Walker to even be alive.
